While I am loving school right now, I'm SO EXCITED to go home for the holidays!! Get to see my family, friends, and eat lots of homemade food!! However, I'm NOT taking an art break! Nope, I'm still working on my series for printmaking, which is inspired by phantom of the opera! I'm using an 18 X 24" copper plate to create an awesome scene of an opera house, and meanwhile filling it up with weird things....it's SUCH a huge plate though, so it's taking a lot of time. I've made 6 prints of it so far, but it's more to show the progression of the stages, not so much finished pieces. I'll get there soon! It's sad because I originally wanted to make a big scene, then cut up the plate and make a buncb of smaller pieces. Oh well, I can do that next semester probably. ^_^

Drawing class is going VERY well, I've finally incorporated landscapes and backgrounds into my pieces! The honored drawing is the second of my series about my story. I will upload it later, along with some of my ghost prints and smaller versions of my phantom series!! Printmaking is SUCH a lONG process and it can really be frustrating at times, but I love the results! Unfortunately, I can't take it again next semester, it's already filled up ;_;

December is BIG for me. Why? Because:

There is a print sale going on December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and I'm SOOO GONNA BE IN IT!! Problem is they need to be matted so...we shall see how many i can actually submit XD.

December 1st is the deadline for submitting art works for the Cypress Dome, a book published once a year and contains stories, poems, and artworks submitted by UCF students. The amount of work I can submit is unlimited and I only need to give them photographs of my works, and not the originals, so yay!! Alas, I don't get any money, but it's a great resume builder!

December 1st: I get my drawing back form the UCF Student union Art Exhibition! It's been hanging in the Student Union this whole time, and I'm very happy with it's success ^_^.

During winter break, I finally get to meet my sister's boyfriend, Gerald! I'm so excited!!! XD

I ned to declare my intent to graduate, or else...I won't be able to graduate...>>

Photography has been...less than satisfying... I feel like it's been a waste of a class, and I should have taken History of prints instead...but oh well. I finished signing up for classes next semester:

Book Binding, Fiction Writing Workshop, Commercial Book design and Publishing, Advanced Illustration, and History of Photography!!

Yeah, I'm gonna die...;_;
